As expected, the tabloid media are falling over each other speculating where Tiger Woods might be now and what he’s doing. Who cares? Most assuredly, I do not. To expand on my not caring, I really don’t care if he ever plays another hole of professional golf.
There comes a time when we get weary of being played for a sucker by modern thug professional athletes. They act like we owe them something, or everything, and they owe us nothing. Sure, buy those over-priced stadium tickets, drink and eat those over-priced beverages and hot dogs…..pay outrageous prices for sponsored equipment and clothing…. then listen to them whine and cry about wanting privacy and “I don’t get no respect.” Every time I hear the “respect” card being played by one of the professional thugs, I fear I’ll puke on my shoes. What you earn is what you’ll get, boneheads.
If justice where to be done, Tiger Woods would have to start from square one, again, with nothing. Then, maybe second time around, he would realize the significance of being a genuine human being. He had a lot of help developing his “royal personality” by his father, his counselors and handlers. So, maybe we can’t put all the blame on him. There were a lot of outside influences on what he would eventually become as a person. But, he sure feasted on it and presented a public image that was completely phony.
I won’t hold my breath until he returns, and won’t care if he never does.

The Titleist AP2 Irons’ high-tech, multi-material construction features a steel body, tungsten nickel sole, elastomer bar and aluminum cavity plate. AP2 Irons is built to deliver both performance and feel. The dual cavity design of the Titleist AP2 irons pushes weight to the perimeter for forgiveness. A central cross member featuring a soft elastomer cushion provides structural rigidity behind the impact area while also dampening face vibration for better overall feel. The lower cavity of the AP2 irons is enclosed by a tungsten nickel box. This high-density material locates the weight low and deep while providing structural rigidity and low frequency vibration dampening for outstanding solid feel. The tungsten nickel box helps reduce the sole and back flange width for better turf performance and shot control.
Titleist AP2 irons provide a comfortable and confidence-inspiring appearance in the set up position with a traditional blade profile and hosel junction. The metallic back cavity plate contributes to the AP2’s great looks and bag appeal.
Features:
Multi-material, dual cavity, technically forged
Advanced performance with a traditional solid feel and looks provide shot control for the skilled player (handicap 5-9)

Technology
Flight Control Technology (FCT)
TaylorMade’s Flight Control Technology (FCT) allows the player to easily adjust a metalwood’s loft, lie and face angle
FCT utilizes a metallic sleeve positioned over the tip of the shaft. The sleeve can be rotated into different positions, changing the characteristics of the head, by loosening the bolt that secures the sleeve and shaft into the clubhead.
Movable Weight Technology
Movable Weight TechnologyTM (MWT®), is discretionary clubhead weight that can be easily redistributed by the player to change the characteristics of the club.
By moving differently weighted cartridges, using a proprietary TaylorMade® wrench, into strategically positioned ports, CG location can be optimized per golfer.
Positioning more weight in the heel and less in the toe, speeds club head rotation during the forwardswing, which promotes a draw and/or reduces a slice.
Inverted Cone Technology (ICT)
The Inverted Cone is CNC-milled directly into the inner side of the clubface, resulting in a drastic variation in face thickness. ICT optimizes the way the clubface behaves at impact to create an expanded COR zone.
Inverted Cone Technology has been incorporated into every TaylorMade® driver since the R500 SeriesTM.
Ultra-Thin Wall Technology
Ultra-Thin Wall Technology is a casting process that allows thinner clubhead walls than found in most competitive drivers. The saved weight is critical to making the incorporation of MWT and FCT possible in certain TaylorMade metalwoods.

78 golfers played in the 47th annual Eskimo Open at Cog Hill in Lemont, Illinois, last Sunday. They played special winter rules which included an automatic two-putt when you were within 36-inches of the cup.
I certainly hope the bar was open and had an ample supply of whiskey.
