1. Your Stance
Your golf stance may not be perfect , but you can compensate by staying balanced and relaxed. Your weight should be equally placed between your left and right leg. 2. Alignment

But another thing that even some experienced players forget at times is that as well as their feet being in alignment , they must also ensure that the shoulders are correctly aligned . This can be done by holding a club along your chest and aiming it down the correct parallel aim line . 3. Grip
It is a common problem when trying to go for more distance to grip the club too tightly. This immediately creates tenseness throughout the body – this leads to at best slowing your muscles and reducing club head speed, and at worst resulting in snatching the club back and to take your swing out of its normal swing plane. Both will result in your ball going off line . You need to make a conscious attempt to grip the club gently .
